Celebration

January 22nd was a blast! I finally got to experience the Vigan City Fiesta, celebrating the Conversion of St. Paul. The city was so alive with colors and music. The roads were almost packed with people, all excited to witness and join the celebration. But the highlight of the day was definitely the Longganisa Festival dance competition. Different schools were representing, and each had their own unique and creative performance. It was so cool to see the different interpretations of the longganisa theme through dance!

The energy was contagious as each school took the stage. The costumes were vibrant, and the dancers were giving it their all. It was amazing to see the talent and creativity of the students. Of course, I was especially excited because our school was participating! They had been practicing for weeks, and we were all hoping to do their best.

And guess what? We won! Our school was declared the champion in the B category! It was an incredible feeling to be part of such a talented and dedicated group. The whole day was filled with pride, excitement, and the delicious aroma of longganisa wafting through the air. It's a fiesta I'll never forget!
